Filmmakers Collaborative I: Story Development & Fundraising

This course has been offered in the Spring & Fall. Spring 2021 is not currently being offered, we'll announce the next class when it is available. Thanks for your support!

The Filmmakers Collaborative for Adults I is a 10-week documentary producing course centered on story development and fundraising.  Participants learn the key ingredients in crafting the narrative arc in documentary filmmaking while developing a standard industry proposal for funding.  Since its inception, the Filmmakers Collaborative has mentored over 150 producers, and as a result, is recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  Participants will take master classes with top documentary filmmakers and film specialists.

Duration: 10 weeks
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Location: 343 Malcolm X Blvd/ Lenox Avenue, between 127th & 128th Streets
Cost: $500
